Last Day in Cagliari

Last day in Cagliari
Visited the Museo Archeologico and the Pinateca today. An excellent collection of artifacts from the early neo-lithic period, the Phoenicians, the Bronze age, the Nuraghic period, the Punic Age, a little on the Greeks and finally much more on the Romans. Outside the mueso, we saw an amazing tree with thorns all over the bark on the branches and trunk. Definitely not a tree to rub up against. We'll get an early start to Lanusei tomorrow morning. According to the website of the hostel (La Nuova Luna), internet is not available, so the next blog entry may be delayed.
ciao for now

  1. Hi Danny and Michelle, I'm following your story with interest, though not always daily.Brings back memories, though it sounds like you're a good bit more organized and planned than we were years ago. it's amazing to stay so closely in touch, and then there's the pictures as well. It remains a bit cool in Montreal, and work intrudes too much, but otherwise all is well. Cheers Colm

  2. Hello Dan and Michelle,

Today I finally got around to opening your Manresa Tour Blog and and have read with delight all your postings up through today (June 2, 2009).

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos and enchanting details of your marvelous excursion. To some extent I feel that I am somehow being granted the privilege of participting even though it is only in a vicarious way.

I genuinely sense the peace, love and tranquility that you both no doubt are eperiencing as you progress, learn and grow.

I have not run up an exact total but so far it would appear that you have sent almost $5.00 Canadian during your trip. Suggest you start reigning in on the expenses after all you are retired now.

    Thanks and All The Best.

    Doc Mahoney
